In the Studio

Much of my artwork focuses on the good life. I don’t think art always has to make a political statement or create a reaction to controversial things. Sometimes we just need reminders of how good life has been and still can be. I like to capture moments in time shared with family and friends. I always try to exaggerate the color and create unique compositions, giving the viewer interesting perspectives. I enjoy finding ways for others to look at ordinary objects or great pieces of architecture and see them for what they can still be instead of what they had once been.

For me painting isn’t necessarily something I chose to do, it somewhat chose me. For as long as I can remember creating art has been a part of my life, and I don’t ever see myself retiring from it.
