“Big Boys Toys” Acrylic 36x48 If you know Kim Hanson, most likely the first thing that comes to mind is his “toys.” It is not uncommon for me to see Kim leave his home on a summer morning in his 57 Thunderbird and come back home in the 61 Austin Healy. Yes that is right, all of these machines are his. All of these cars are parked at the original co-op gas station of Albert Lea, but the twist is that we put the station in front of his home on Fountain Lake. As you can see, the station is used for more than just getting gas, as eluded by the sign Gin fri. 5:00, referring to his favorite card game Gin rummy. The billboard is advertising his company Edawards Manufacturing which makes the “Jaws” Ironworker, Therefor I thought LANDSHARK would be appropriate.
